On August 15, 2016 Softline announced completion of optimization of work of IT services of department of Grant Thornton in Cambodia.
Project Tasks
The Cambodian branch of Grant Thornton company needed to optimize work of IT infrastructure, to increase quality of administration of services and controllability of the rented cloud services. The Softline company undertook to implement the project.
Project Progress
The examination conducted by specialists of Softline showed that administration of the data located in infrastructure of cloud services of Microsoft for the Cambodian branch is executed by IT specialists of Grant Thornton in Vietnam.
In the project progress it is updated by the Active Directory on the customer's servers, connection of cloud services to IT infrastructure, setup of the solutions Office 365: Exchange Online, Skype for Business, SharePoint, OneDrive.
Exchange Online is integrated with the solution Mimecast which is available for the customer intended for identification, blocking of undesirable information and the malware which are contained in letters. For IT specialists of the company training in questions of use of a new system is provided.
Project Results
Softline completed the project of transfer of a part of the administered IT services (Exchange Online, Skype for Business) Grant Thornton companies from the Vietnamese branch to Cambodia. In a project deliverable the customer increased employee performance, created a failsafe environment for corporate communications.
Upon completion of the project our specialists could perform administration of IT services irrespective of the Vietnamese colleagues. In a work progress we managed to increase fault tolerance of a system, to create a reliable environment for safe correspondence and data exchange, to increase efficiency of corporate communications. Now the Cambodian branch of the company had a possibility of rapid implementation of applications and updates, preserving of working capacity in case of failures or routine maintenance. |
As a result of effective interaction of commands of Softline in Russia and Cambodia, specialists of Grant Thornton of work were carried out according to the delivered requirements. All parties made every effort for high-quality implementation of a task, and now the staff of the organization works in the modern, failsafe system of communications.
