Yu-Trade implemented a warehouse management system

On August 15, 2016 the InStock Technologies company announced implementation in Yu-Trade of the warehouse management system InStock WMS.

Project Tasks

At InStock WMS system implementation work was adjusted so that a system automatically determines: goods - a set, separate component parts, the separated article or component parts as a part of the separated article.

The subsequent processes, considering this fact, have features in processing of goods:

• acceptance,
• selection,
• replenishment,
• shipment,
• inventory,
• change of the status,
• movement of goods on a task (as a result of change of the status),
• dismantling of the order.

Considering separation of goods methods of selection, control, consolidations and shipments for each zone were configured differently. The goods on the mezzanine are selected by group methods: several orders for one pass with sorting according to boxes on the cart of the selector. Large-size goods – a selection method under one order. Heavy goods of type of sinks – pallety, with the layout by orders in an expedition zone. Goods on the street - manual selection, etc.

Project Results

After system implementation of InStock WMS labor productivity of employees of a warehouse and processing speed of orders increased. Result of implementation - the high level of "transparency" of a trade inventory in a warehouse and the accuracy of data on a remaining balance in a system.
