"Car Alliance" was implemented by InStock WMS in the main warehouse in Lyubertsy

On January 23, 2019 InStock Techolgies completed automation of one more warehouse of Avto-Alyans company. System implementation of WMS was necessary for ensuring smooth smoothly running operation of warehouses and accurate accounting of the movement of goods.

Implementation of InStock WMS took place step by step and began with a warehouse in. Mirnyi. Such approach is effective since at first in a warehouse with a small set of business processes integration with the ERP system is smoothly running and personnel training is provided, and then InStock WMS was implemented also in the main warehouse in Lyubertsy.

Feature of business processes of warehouses of auto parts is the high load at selection of small-pieces goods from the big areas of storage, a large number of at the same time working personnel, processing of tens of thousands of order lines a day, specificity of goods of different dimensions and characteristics. In a warehouse in Lyubertsy selection is performed from the 4-storeyed mezzanine with simultaneous operation in a warehouse more than 100 employees.

In the warehouses "Car Alliance" process of acceptance under control of InStock WMS is organized as unceasing pipeline process. At the same time sorting of products at a stage of acceptance happens concerning a pallet, but not delivery. It means increase in speed and location accuracy of products in certain zones and further selection of orders. Goods are accepted by articles irrespective of what delivery they treat. InStock WMS defines to what group of goods to carry these products in what zone to place it also a possibility of formation of a monopallet.

Small-pieces selection on the mezzanine in this project is organized without the pipeline systems, despite a large number of the selected lines in day. Such solution allowed to save on additional investments on the warehouse equipment without reduction of speed and accuracy of selection. It was reached for the account

• specialized transport container. InStock WMS considers features of products of each order and, according to it, selects a container for the sorter.

2016

On August 15, 2016 the press service of InStock Technologies announced end of system implementation of InStock WMS in a warehouse of Avto-Alyans company in the city of Mirnom.

Smoothly running business processes of a warehouse are necessary for an effective company performance that is impossible without the operating WMS.

The main features of business processes are connected with the huge areas for small-pieces storage: the optimized acceptance algorithms with sorting and placement of goods, selection and control.

Implementation of InStock WMS on objects of "Car Alliance" is conducted step by step, on warehouses. As the first object partners selected a warehouse complex of class C from the city of Mirny.

The implementation stage in Mirnyi included optimization of specific processes of acceptance, storage and shipment of auto parts.

The main objectives of InStock Technologies in Mirnyi – working off of integration with the ERP system, the main business processes. Implementation was organized so that the warehouse became base for preparation of teams of employees for work on all other objects.
