Laboratory information management system of I-LDS it is implemented at Chepetsk Mechanical Plant

On July 26-27, 2016 at Chepetsk Mechanical Plant the meeting of specialists of the enterprises entering into structure of shopping Mall TVEL of ROSATOM State Corporation for acquaintance with experience of implementation of LIMS I-LDS in the Central factory laboratory JSC ChMZ took place. Laboratory information management system of I-LDS, developed by IndaSoft LLC, it was put into commercial operation in May, 2016.

Specialists of JSC ChMZ provided to participants of a meeting production base of the central plant laboratory with opportunities of the implemented system. The project covered a complex of laboratories of JSC ChMZ: laboratory of tests, laboratory of chemical methods of the analysis, laboratory of spectrum analysis. At the time of delivery of LIMS in commercial operation in a system 174 users were registered, the automated jobs (AJ) of a system are unrolled on 53 computers of the enterprise, from them 44 automated workplaces of the engineer, 28 automated workplaces of the laboratory assistant. Measurements are conducted on 773 products, 48220 results of measurements are entered into LIMS, 85 report forms, 20 forms of protocols are implemented.

The chief of the central plant laboratory Nikolay Yakovlevich Varkentin reported that the functionality of I-LDS provided full automation of business processes of laboratory. The universality and flexibility of setup of a system allowed to apply it in all divisions (before implementation of LIMS I-LDS in laboratories of JSC ChMZ two laboratory systems of own development which, that not to exchange, did not cover all laboratories of the enterprise were operated). "The information volume provided by a system, more than satisfies needs of users, – N.Ya. Varkentin noted, – but the personnel should be ready to its competent interpretation and application for adoptions of production solutions. And it is one of the main objectives of the central plant laboratory now – to reach the most effective use of information provided by the LIMS I-LDS tools".
