On August 18, 2016 the Cognitive Technologies company announced project completion of upgrade of a system of electronic archive of documents by request of VTB Insurance company.
Project Tasks
Earlier created electronic archive of the customer is created with participation of Cognitive Technologies in 2014. According to the statement of the company contractor, system implementation helped to lower by 50 times time of access of insurance agents to the stored images of documents, to increase service quality of documents by means of reduction of search time of their electronic copies. For a year of use of a system in VTB Insurance the archive of electronic images of documents more than 3 TB is created. Growth of volume of the stored data induced the customer to carry out upgrade of a system of archiving, to enhance its functionality and opportunities for users[1].
The insurance company set the task for integrator: save all documents in electronic archive and provide access to them from own information systems.
Project Progress
Within project works optimization of high-speed performance of server components and integration with the information systems operating in in VTB Insurance is performed, automated workplaces of input (scanning) of document packages are created, will unroll the mobile client of the electronic document management system (EDMS) "E1 Euphrates".
The project of upgrade of electronic archive included three stages:
- design and approval of functionality and protocols of integration;
- solution development and two stages of acceptance of works;
- trial operation of a system.
As technical means of solution development EDMS E1 Euphrates the mobile client "E1 Euphrates", the Cognitive PDF/A system and library of recognition are used "" barcodes.
Project Results
 | The efficiency of the modified solution for VTB Insurance was sufficient for input of several tens of thousands pages of insurance documents in day, storages of several million documents and one-time work in the system of several hundred users. |  |
