Adamas optimized expenses on IT

On August 22, 2016 the Softline company provided to Adamas company service Virtual DPC on the platform of own public cloud.

Project Tasks

Minimization of capital costs of contents and service of a part of IT infrastructure among which there are expenses on purchase, delivery and setup of the equipment was required for Adamas company. Adamas needed additional server capacities for operational start of IT solutions, expansion of infrastructure in process of business development.

As the IT partner selected Softline. The concept of creation of "a public cloud" developed by engineers of Softline on the equipment Cisco NetApp, SLA with financial guarantees and availability of service of 99.9% became powerful criterion for the customer, the recorded performance of the platform and speed of reaction of technical support 24х7^[1].

Project Progress

Using service Virtual DPC in a public cloud of Softline on the basis of resources of VMware, the customer placed necessary IT services and provided to them personnel access from any place in the world where there is a connection to the Internet. IT specialists of Adamas company had an opportunity:

• to independently create virtual servers,
• perform tuning and configuring acting,
• administer, set and configure software,
• manage virtual networks through the functional vCloud Director panel.

The customer can increase server capacities on demand in technical support.

Project Results

As a result of project completion the Adamas company lowered finance and time expenditure on operation of IT infrastructure.

The scalability and flexible licensing of service allow the customer to regulate consumption of cloud capacities according to requirements of the company. Using service, Adamas quickly received full replacement of a physical server framework and could start use of the platform. Thanks to service Virtual DPC from a public cloud Softline, our Adamas company increased employee performance and increased performance of IT systems. At the same time economic effect necessary to us was reached: we transferred capital costs of purchase and service of the server hardware to operating rooms, on payment of lease of cloud capacities at provider.
