Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport began system implementation of biometric video identification

On August 25, 2016 CST company announced installation of a system of biometric video identification Vizier in the airport of the capital of the island of Sakhalin.

Project Tasks

A system is required for work in automatic the mode of detection of the people who are wanted and notifications about these facts of police. The project is implemented within the concept of creation of Bezopasny gorod agrarian and industrial Complex.

Basic function of the Vizier system — biometric video surveillance, recognition and identification of the citizens passing through control boundaries in places of the structured flow^[1]:

• transitions,
• inputs and exits,
• tourniquets,
• examination framework
• other places.

Video cameras at the airport of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk will be installed on perimeter of a zone of transport security - on all inputs and exits. A system is integrated with the end-to-end automatic search system (ETEASS) which contains the database of the wanted citizens. At detection of the person from among searched, the message through a special closed channel is sent on workstations and mobile devices of police. Such message contains a frame from the video camera, information on time and the place of the detection searched.

The idea of search of criminals on the centralized base is supported and at the highest level. For example, in June Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin suggested to create the uniform accounting and search database where all information on terrorists and extremists will enter.
