On September 27, 2016 Sberbank summed up the quotation request results on rendering consulting services in creation of the centralized mail system (CMS) in an internal segment[1]. The starting price of purchase was nearly 60 million rubles, based on competitive procedures it was reduced by 17%.
Applications for participation in a quotation request were submitted by three companies: Sharesoft, I-Teco and IT. The request "Sharesoft" was recognized to not conforming requirements since the company has no status of the Microsoft partner - Enterprise Solution Provider 2.0. The best price offer among having remained participants it was given IT company which was recognized by the winner.
After carrying out precontractual negotiations the tender committee of Sberbank made the decision to sign the agreement with IT worth 49.65 million rubles.
Let's remind that according to documentation, credit institution consulting services in preparation of the project documentation on creation of the DIN are required, for setup of a core of a system based on software of Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 and also migration of mail services and mailboxes. Services should be rendered in full by February 5, 2018.
Sberbank is sure that the centralized mail system will allow to solve problems of further development and increase in level of the service of e-mail provided to business. In a project deliverable the bank expects to reduce the cost of ownership of service of e-mail, to increase its availability and fault tolerance, to create a common information space on exchange of e-mails and calendar events and also to increase effective management of mail infrastructure.
The projectible DIN should replace all existing mail systems of central office and territorial banks of Sberbank in an internal segment. The operating system used at present by bank should act as a reference operational platform- Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2. A mail system should use the existing wood omega.sbrf.ru and the domain omega.sbrf.ru implemented based on services Microsoft Active Directory.
The DIN should replace the existing address spaces of central office and territorial banks and service a uniform address space.

Besides, the possibility of increase in quantity of mailboxes of service up to 30% without change of system architecture and a possibility of accumulation of functionality, both due to improvement of the involved hardware, and due to increase in their quantity should be implemented.
As for availability of service of e-mail, it should be at the level of 99.9% at a continuous duty of work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, taking into account time necessary for carrying out scheduled works.
Let's remind that in June, 2012 Sberbank prolonged the five-year corporate agreement with Microsoft corporation for licensing of different products. In addition, Microsoft Rus the prime minister support renders to Sberbank services. The financial institution from June, 2014 to June, 2016 spent more than 1 billion rubles for these purposes.
