In September, 2016 the joint project [[Valeo], one of suppliers of cars, and Gemalto company on security of a system of electronic keys for the Valeo InBlue cars was announced. Using Valeo InBlue technology, drivers will be able to use the smartphone or the connected hours for blocking, an unblocking and start of the cars, using applications for management and remote access to useful information of the car through Bluetooth.
The principle of work of the aircraft equipment connected to a packet of development tools of the software for the smartphone (SDK) was taken as a basis of this innovation, providing a hosting of the protected electronic key of the car through a cloud platform of Valeo.
The Valeo InBlue technology uses the solution Gemalto Allynis Trusted Services Hub (TSH) providing safe wireless deployment of Over-The-Air (OTA) and management of lifecycle of applications and confidential credentials of vehicles. Thanks to this solution Gemalto safe transfer of electronic keys of the car and their reliable storage on smartphones is provided that on the security level it is comparable to the current solutions for the mobile payment services used by banks worldwide.
The Valeo InBlue technology is compatible to Android or iOS for the smartphones connected to any network of mobile communication. Ease of implementation of this solution allows to unroll it in any market.

Thanks to Valeo InBlue technology, authorized users can register far off new attached devices for use together with the car and obtain information on it, for example, about a location and level of fuel that will allow to secure sharing of cars and to simplify an order of their delivery in rolling.
