The Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan connected school transport to GLONASS system

On September 19, 2016 the Fort Telecom company announced the project on equipping by the equipment of GLONASS system of 1.2 thousand school buses in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Project orderer Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan, integrator NIS company.

Project Results

Part of the vehicles executing transportation of children in rural areas is earlier equipped with sets of navigation equipment.

During the project NTP company "NIS" carried out installation of terminals FORT-111 M and FORT-112 EG on other buses.

Data from all vehicles equipped with navigation equipment are relayed in the Ministry of Education by means of Fort Monitor software.

A system helps the Ministry of Education, traffic police and RONO to control movement of school buses, to react timely to emergencies and to protect vehicles from stealing and assaults.

The possibility of creation on its base of large universal navigation information center for the benefit of different state departments, including the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Bashkortostan became one of the key reasons of the choice of a software platform of Fort Monitor. Besides, the navigation terminals of production Fort Telecom installed by school buses, conform to requirements of the ERA-GLONASS system that considerably raises the security level of transportations of school students.
