On October 6, 2016 the Softline company announced an implementation project of a system of security of infrastructure and consulting services in the field of implementing solutions for virtualization of Sophos UTM in IT infrastructure of JSC EKO RESURS company.
Project Tasks
The customer company had a need for upgrade of the operating IT infrastructure. It was required to find software with the functionality similar to Microsoft Forefront TMG. The server hardware for virtualization in JSC EKO RESURS required replacement.
As solution provider, on a competitive basis, the customer selected Softline company.
Project Progress
As the instrument of information security support the Sophos UTM system is selected. Specialists of the contractor delivered the solution, rendered consulting services during its testing.
Project Results
After implementation by specialists of JSC EKO RESURS of a product, time for administration and management of IT infrastructure of the company was reduced more than for 50%, at the same time the level of stability of work of security systems much increased.
For virtualization consultants of Softline suggested the customer to use failsafe and easily scalable solution on the platform of servers Dell and the Microsoft Hyper-V software product and to consolidate the server hardware.
We delivered to the customer the high-tech software solution for information security support which optimum corresponds to its business challenges. The recommendations developed by specialists of Softline formed base for further upgrade of IT infrastructure. |
Use of the product Sophos UTM allowed us to lower spam loading more than by 30% for the mail server, to protect users from the malware, to integrate remote offices, to provide centralized operation by networks of the general access and Wi-Fi. And replacement of the server hardware will allow to lower load of a conditioning system and to reduce consumption of electricity by 70%, to increase performance of services, to protect data of crucial business applications. |
