NetDefend UTM DFL-870 is the firewall for solving of tasks of management, monitoring and service of network infrastructure in the distributed corporate networks.
On October 12, 2016 the D-Link company announced release of the NetDefend UTM DFL-870 firewall.
The DFL-870 firewall is equipped with six configured Gigabit Ethernet ports (by default – 2 WAN ports, 1 DMZ port and 3 LAN ports), console port mini-USB and two USB ports (are reserved for use in the subsequent versions of the built-in software). DFL-870 is executed in the metal body with a possibility of installation[1] to a 19-inch rack[1].
The firewall supports reservation of Route FailOver channels, a possibility of the organization up to 128 VLAN, setup the politician of access, the OSPF and SNMP v1/v2c protocols. Capacity of the device provides high speeds of opening of sessions and traffic handling, including IPS, AV and WCF.
DFL-870 provides:
- prevention of the known attacks and attacks of zero day by means of technology of component signatures of IPS;
- stream anti-virus scanning using signatures from Kaspersky Labs without preserving of the files entering a cache;
- filtering of web contents on the basis of servers of global indexes, "black lists", the politician and settings.
The built-in support VPN helps to organize PPTP- L2TP- and IPSec- tunnels (IKEv1 and IKEv2) for secure remote access to corporate data with use of enciphering of DES (56 bits).
DFL-870 supports the ZoneDefense function allowing at joint work with a number of switches of the xStack D-Link series to block the infected computers and to prevent distribution of harmful traffic on internal network.
Setup, management and monitoring of DFL-870 can be executed by means of the web interface, console or remote SSH access. Among control functions:
- remote control,
- policy of management of bandwidth,
- blocking on URL/key to a word,
- politicians of access and SNMP.
Functions of network monitoring are supported:
- the notification by e-mail,
- system magazine,
- stability check
- statistics in real time.
DFL-870 will become available to the order since November, 2016.
