NaviCon Group automated financial document flow in the Russian division of IKEA

NaviCon Group successfully completed the project on automation of financial document flow in one of divisions of IKEA in Russia – IKEA BIDDING LLC. The project is implemented based on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV system.

Implementation of financial document flow was one of key project tasks.

For the choice of the automation system the customer held the tender in which preference was given to Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. The possibility of timely entering of necessary updates into primary documents according to change of the legislation became a basic reason of the choice for benefit of this software product.

The NaviCon Group company which earlier already implemented two projects for the Russian divisions of IKEA became the contractor of the project.

To optimize implementation time, the solution of Microsoft Dynamics NAV EXPRESS which contains the preconfigured database for management of finance of the enterprise was used. It allowed to complete the project in 1.5 months.

Today the customer, thanks to new functionality of the solution regarding document flow, has an opportunity to monitor timely providing to customers and receiving from them primary documents and also to print all primary documents (accounts, invoices, acts of the performed works) in the Russian and English languages.

Besides, within project implementation the module "Sales" was implemented and its integration with the accounting system used into the companies in which the financial statements on all division are prepared is configured. Thanks to integration between information systems, sales informations from Microsoft Dynamics NAV come to the accounting system and are used for report generation for head office.
