Content

The Microtest company completed business analysis system implementation in Oriflame company for the region the CIS and the Baltic.

Tasks, questions

Oriflame it became more difficult for management of regional department to keep track of efficiency of marketing actions and to control their financial results. Before the company there was a need to reduce costs for carrying out marketing efforts, at the same time increasing their profitability.

Implementation

The system of the business analysis of a marketing activity based on the solution IBM Cognos 8 Business Intelligence became the tool for the solution of the listed tasks.

Implementation was carried out by Microtest company. Also the firm developed the system of the business analysis for consolidation of information and report generation about the carried-out marketing actions and also the analysis of key indicators of activity.

Result

In a project deliverable the Oriflame company had an opportunity:

  • increase efficiency of control of results of marketing actions;
  • reduce labor input of collecting and accounting of information for the analysis of KPI;
  • to twice reduce time for development of new actions in directories.

System implementation of the business analysis gave the effective management tool marketing using which it is possible to increase profitability of the actions which are carried out in directories and to reduce costs for their carrying out for 20%, Sergey Kanashin, the vice president considers Oriflame in CIS and Baltic countries.
