Softline carried out SAM assessment in "The Siberian confectionery company"

The Softline company completed in the fall of 2016 the project on reconciliation of license compliance of the software of Microsoft in "The Siberian confectionery company" as a result of which for the customer recommendations about effective use of software licenses were prepared.

The start of the project was caused by absence at the company of policy of purchases of software Microsoft and optimal schemes of licensing and also the need to plan the IT budget and to analyze the potential of current contracts. The IT partner selected Softline which spends a full stroke of the works directed to improvement of quality of use of the software of Microsoft and increase in its license compliance.

Experts of Softline carried out inventory of IT infrastructure of the customer, found out features of the current license agreements taking into account several legal entities. Use of the operating systems which are not supported by vendor any more that posed a threat of IT security of the company was revealed, the list of free licenses for server applications was detected.
