Stroytransgaz automated management of the design estimates

On November 11, 2016 the Appius company announced implementation in IT infrastructure of Stroytransgaz Ltd of technology of management of design data to "Appius-PLM of UPSD".

Project Tasks

The main objectives designated to specialists Stroytransgaz and Appius companies before the project of automation and system implementation of "Appius-PLM of UPSD":

• management of the project and technical and work documentation according to the scheme: The investor (Customer) – the general contractor – subcontractor;
• accounting of types of changes, grouping according to notifications/permissions on change;
• creation of electronic archive of technical documentation;
• communication with a paper copy.

Project Results

In the control circuit documentation, Stroytransgaz possesses a role of the general contractor. Work in the Appius-PLM of UPSD system is conducted in several stages:

• creation of a tree of the construction project;
• loading of documentation in a system;
• division of the project on Subcontractors.

Such organization of the work documentation in a system involves formation of another story on each set and each change in documentation:

• change number,
• receiving time,
• transmission time,
• number of changes,
• the status of the drawing (operating or cancelled),
• return of drawings.

All lifecycle of the work documentation extends to all participants from the beginning of the project and before its end.

Results of Implementation:

• the updated work documentation on last modification is in sites;
• process of delivery of documentation is optimized;
• temporary costs of receiving/transfer of documentation are reduced;
• quickly reports on types of changes form.

In any company which is engaged in construction, manages documentation, such system as "Appius-PLM of UPSD", is simply necessary. It can be in some more truncated type or more expanded, but anyway such system should be.
