Taber Trade completed upgrade of IT infrastructure

On November 29, 2016 the I-Teco company announced delivery to retailer "Podruzhka" of the equipment of HPE - DWH of HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8450.

Project Tasks

The network of the retailer contains more than 150 shops in Moscow and area and 20 shops in St. Petersburg. Monthly in network one-two shops open, load of an information network grows in proportion to number of the opened sales points. As the press service of the company, more than one million people among regular customers of network reported. These factors, according to project participants, became the main in decision making process about upgrade of computing powers of the retailer.

Project Results

According to the statement of the company, I-Teco completed upgrade of computing resources of Podruzhka retail network. The command of integrator unrolled high-performance IT infrastructure in a complex with storage system on the platform of the equipment Hewlett-Packard Enterprise.

According to the recommendation of I-Teco our choice was made for benefit of the modern solution of HPE 3PAR StoreServ 8450 of completely updated line of disk arrays of vendor thanks to its powerful stuffing, compliance of the equipment to the key requirements of business applications and functions allowing to optimize use of disk space, to provide additional protection and exclusive data availability. In the project progress we had an opportunity to estimate such characteristics a flash array of HPE as the increased scalability and maximum capacity, flexibility, fault tolerance and efficiency. Today more and more companies try to pass to use of all-flash of arrays in the long term completely to refuse use of traditional hard drives, and we are glad to appear in this advanced technology trend.
