Russian Post will invest more than 120 million rubles in development of an analytical system

Russian Post develops the single analytical platform created in 2015 by Luxoft company. Then 28 million rubles^[1] were spent for system development]. She managed to replace the solutions for the analysis of separate tasks existing at that time.

The platform was developed mainly based on the free software, using solutions Pentaho BI Tomcat, by RStudio nginx PostgreSQL MySQL Hadoop , etc.

As a result of work of the analytical platform the feedback testimonial of need of further development was collected. The new project will receive much bigger financing – over 120 million rubles^[2].

The updated system should increase efficiency of use of data of the enterprise and computing resources and also improve security management. The upgraded platform will allow to analyze more widely activity of departments of a mail service, to monitor terms of a registration, processing and delivery of departures, to control SLA for specific clients and sendings, to predict receipts of mail and many other things.

All works on upgrade and development should be executed within 125 working days from the date of signing of the contract, the works on requests for modification should be completed within 6 months from start date of execution of the first request.

Only one application was submitted for tender on development of a single information and analytical platform. As well as a year ago the services were offered by Luxoft company. Tender was recognized cancelled therefore the contract should be signed with the only participant. However the decision of the commission of Russian Post about it is not published yet.
