The Typhoon-U Family of armored cars of the increased security

"Typhoon" — the family of armored cars of the increased security developed by cooperation from more than 120 enterprises among which there is Ural Automotive Plant KAMAZ, the Yaroslavl motor plant, scientific research institute became (machine armor), the Federal nuclear center in Sarov (calculation of security of a bronekorpus), Trunk (bulletproof glasses), MSTU of Bauman (the hydropneumatic suspender). Were for the first time shown in 2011 on a polygon, on May 9, 2014 — on a military parade in Moscow (Tayfun-K) and on a parade on May 9, 2015 (Tayfun-K, the Typhoon-U). It is going to take advantage in 2015 [1]. In December, 2014 for trial operation the first batch (30 cars), spring of 2015 — the second came to troops.

The Urals-53099 "Typhoon-U" are the protected car with the armored module on a frame of wheel formula 4х4. It is held for use as the main military equipment of easy general crews of Ground forces and shooting crews of territorial defense of the district on wartime and also for accomplishment of functions of transportation of staff, its fire support in the battlefield and conducting fight from the machine. The car can carry out other tasks of the choice of the customer. "Typhoon-U" is supplied with the armored body and provides a protection class on OTT 9.1.12.1-2010 - 6 (on STANAG 4569 - 4).
