The company QNAP announced on March 2, 2020 expansion of a line DWH for corporate application by the ES2486dc model with 24 compartments for solid state drives SSD. The product is the first storage system of QNAP of the class All‑flash with two active controllers and operating system QES which uses file the ZFS system where deduplication and block compression are available data. ES2486dc is recommended for deployment of crucial file servers, virtual machines and cloud applications.

Each of two independent controllers has processor Intel Xeon D‑2142IT, eight slots of RDIMM for RAM with a capacity up to 512 GB and four network ports 10GbE SFP+. Memory DRAM with separate batteries of a power supply for uninterrupted data writing is in addition provided in a cache. To increase capacity, in four (on two on the controller) the slot of PCIe it is possible to install network interface cards with interfaces of 10/25/40 Gbit / c. On December 8, 2016 the Russian representative office of QNAP announced the beginning of deliveries of a storage system of ES1640dc.

The model is delivered under the order in modification of ES1640dc-v2-E5-96G.

2015: ES1640dc

ES1640dc is the two-controller network RAID drive.

The storage system of ES1640dc is adapted for crucial tasks and virtualization.

As a part of a HSS two active controllers with the Intel Xeon processors E5-2400 v2, software with the ZFS file system, a full support of popular environments of virtualization. The compatibility with the HPE Helion platform is provided. The sixteen-disk ES1640dc server is the ready-made solution for information storage and cloud computing of the corporate level.
