On December 12, 2016 the I-Teco company announced master clock system system implementation at the Moscow school of economy of Lomonosov Moscow State University (MShE MSU). The project was executed by RASSE company with the assistance of Oleg Deripaska's fund "Free case".
Project Tasks
The master clock system system implementation purpose – the organization of a single synchronized network of the exact time for coordination of work of all divisions of faculty.
Need and convenience of work for uniform temporary space are indisputable, especially so far as concerns coordination of the general actions of faculty, and, first of all, about following to the lesson schedule. In any educational institution the similar principles of joint activity, certainly, are important. It is pleasant that information technologies come to the rescue in the solution of this question. Project Progress
At the first stage the command of integrator developed the project of IT solution in which crayfish information transfer about the current value of time from a reference source to network elements is executed. As a source the station of master clocks in central server faculty is set.
For time synchronization and data transmission on secondary (pointer and electronic) hours the GPS antenna is used. The system of master clock system brought into operation provides display of local time and date in the day-month format, a possibility of synchronization of external network devices – servers and workstations of a computer network – on local or UTC time.
In addition to the basic function – indication of the exact time on all secondary hours – this IT solution allows to synchronize on time and other engineering systems of the building: video surveillance systems, fire protection, access control. Complex approach of MShE to creation of a single network of the exact time gives a fine opportunity to integrate these systems and as much as possible to use their functionality. |
