2018: System implementation of 1C:ERP
On April 2, 2018 the 1C-Rarus company announced implementation of 1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2 in Gulliver company.
Prerequisites of the Project
The Gulliver company needs to provide daily with the range large federal retail chain stores taking into account their severe conditions of deliveries and big the number of small wholesale clients - more than 1000 shops through the whole country. For this purpose it is necessary to react quickly to requests for delivery from purchasers, to predict surges in demand, to maintain marketing activity in shops – to carry out actions, to implement loyalty systems for clients. It is necessary to collect exact data on sales and the demanded range, to analyze and plan further work according to data retrieveds.
Earlier all data for the management reporting were consolidated from 32 separate systems which are used in different divisions of the company. Financial statements formed about a month, the acquired information required extra time on reconciliation. The lack of operational information complicated planning and control of activity of divisions. It was difficult to manage sales and reservation of goods. Agreements and the loyalty program were approved in paper form. In case of business trips of responsibles the conclusion of transactions or start of marketing actions could be postponed.
Project Tasks
The information system which would allow to optimize a management system for trade inventories became necessary for the enterprise – to organize operational reservation of goods under orders, to improve interaction with own and franchasing outlets, to accelerate deliveries of goods to shops, to reduce time for start of marketing actions. Besides, it was necessary to provide the management of operational management information about activity of divisions.
The tender for implementation of a necessary information system was won by 1C-Rarus company.
Project Results
According to the results of the project in the corporate system constructed based on 1C: ERP Enterprise Management 2 the staff of financial services, logisticians, sales, purchases, marketing specialists, HR managers, employees in branches work. In total 650 jobs are automated.
The scheme of reservation of goods under individual customer needs is optimized: a system allows to consider dynamics of sales of each of more than one thousand active clients of distribution business of the Toy direction, independently regulates the volume of trade inventories in reserves under clients. At the same time already final information on optimal volumes and completion dates of the order is provided to clients. Application of such scheme of reservation helps to distribute more rationally trade inventories that leads to increase in a goods turnover and reduces storage costs of stocks in a warehouse. On expectations of company management increase in turnover of goods in reserves under large network customers in the Toy direction will be not less than 10%.
In electronic form work with agreements, requests for payment is organized. Risks of loss of documents are reduced, the possibility of signing of uncoordinated agreements and requests is excluded. Approval of agreements considerably accelerated and became more managed, in a system it is possible to look at the online status of the document at any time. Economy on supplies (cartridges, paper, etc.) became additional effect.
A system allows to work far off in the mode of "thin client". Managers and heads can quickly, being worldwide, to append instructions on important issues that allows not to delay signing of important agreements with partners or start of actions.
Maintaining the normative reference information is centralized. The uniformity and standardization of data accelerated information transfer about the range, the prices and a remaining balance of products both on own Internet platforms, and in information systems of partners. The new goods go on sale quicker. The regulated data transfer process minimizes risk of duplication and errors.
Department of marketing using a 1C system: ERP independently manages shares - from individual discounts to the specific client and seasonal actions to special conditions of purchase of goods in one order or for a certain period. At the same time a system allows to regulate minimum allowable cost of goods and to appoint an individual threshold of discounts for clients. It is possible to quote the different prices of goods within one day. It helps to react more quickly to market changes and to stimulate sale.
All functions of treasury are automated. In the online mode it is possible to obtain information on planned and actual cash flows. The possibility of cash gaps is excluded, the timeliness of obligation fulfillment before partners is increased, and the management can control budget implementation more tightly. All settlement with partners instantly is reflected in specialized reports of the company. The efficiency of accounts receivable management grew, control of its growth is strengthened, the risk of emergence of overdue receivables is reduced.
Preparation of financial statements accelerated more than twice. Such result managed to be achieved thanks to a possibility of operational obtaining information and the automated reporting forms.
"An ERP system allowed us to create a unified environment for all main business processes of the company. Maintaining the normative reference information for all business directions was centralized. A system meets the requirements of domestic policy of information security and allows to manage easily access rights in group scales and also step by step to monitor any changes made by users. 1C:ERP is quickly integrated with the websites and information systems of our clients, large online stores and networks. Besides, the ERP system is loyal to the user.
