In December 2016, AT Consulting announced the transfer of the ABC of Taste website and online store to a digital platform based on the SAP Hybrid Commerce solution. The company told TAdviser that earlier, over the past two years, the ABC of Taste used UMI.CMS, the development of the Russian company Yumisoft.
Changing the platform allows the ABC of Taste online store to work stably under high load, providing a fast and convenient service for customers. The previous platform could not provide this, say representatives of the integrator.
It also became possible to expand the functionality of the site by personalizing the offer, which, according to them, the old platform could not give. Customers will be offered widgets with information about products and services that correspond to the profile of each particular customer.
In addition, the new platform implemented facet (predefined) search, developed adaptive design, integrated with the loyalty program.
As part of the project, AT Consulting implemented APIs - system interfaces for integration with external information systems. This functionality made it possible to launch a new mobile application "ABC of Taste" a month after the migration, and in the future will allow you to easily connect the portal with various partner applications and services.
To integrate the site with the ABC systems of Taste (ERP, WMS, CRM), the DaDa-Most integration bus was introduced, which is the development of AT Consulting based on an open source solution.
At the time of switching to the new platform, the period when the system was not working was less than two hours. During the migration, all user data was transferred, including order history, delivery addresses, links to social networks and other information.

According to UMI CEO Sergei Kotyrev, the company does not position the UMI.CMS Commerce platform for $500 as a competitor for SAP Hybrid platforms for hundreds of thousands of dollars, since this is similar to comparing a mass car with a spacecraft. The company operates in the mass software market, which meets the tasks of 95% of sites and online stores. Hybrid specializes in a narrow market for expensive, large-scale and exclusive solutions, he said.
