2019: Complete implementation of a single digital platform
On February 7, 2019, Tele2 announced that it had completed the introduction of a single digital platform as part of a digital business transformation. The Oracle Commerce industrial solution allowed the company to accelerate the launch of innovative products, personalize services and increase conversion in digital channels.
According to the company, Tele2 completed a large-scale project to create a digital environment for its subscribers. Based on the Oracle Commerce platform, all interfaces of interaction with the client in digital space now work. These are regional sites, personal offices of private subscribers and corporate customers, Tele2 online store. The platform also combines the mobile application "My Tele2," the loyalty program " More," the magazine "Black in White" and the virtual showcase in the company's salons.
The system ensured the readiness of Tele2 digital resources to high loads and reduced the cost of IT infrastructure. The platform made it possible to reduce the time to market several times and quickly launch innovative services as part of the "Other Rules" strategy. This is a tariff designer, transfer of unused packet balances to the next period, the "Share Gigabytes" service.
Thanks to the platform, Tele2 was able to personalize services and implement individual scenarios for interaction with subscribers. The solution allowed the operator to offer products of interest to the customer and, as a result, increase conversion in digital channels. The transfer of services to online improved the quality of service and reduced the burden on the company's contact centers. Oracle Commerce helps Tele2 quickly adjust prices and generate charging conditions based on the specifics of each region. On a single Tele2 platform, it is convenient to test and optimize pages according to specified criteria. Integration of the solution into the personal account allows the operator to provide the most up-to-date information about the status of the account.
At the stage of launching the digital platform, we sought to create a digital space in which the subscriber could quickly and intuitively solve his problems. Over two years, the number of visitors to the Tele2 website has more than tripled, and the audience of the personal account and mobile application has grown approximately the same. 2016: Select Oracle Commerce for Digital Business Transformation
On December 21, 2016, Tele2 announced the choice of the Oracle Commerce platform for digital business transformation. As part of the digital environment organization project, Tele2 transfers a corporate site, personal account and online store to a single platform. The project is attended by the integrator company AT Consulting.
Project tasks
The project is implemented in three stages. The first stage involves the transfer of regional Tele2 sites to the platform. The next stages of the project will affect changes in the personal account and the Tele2 online store - as of December 2016, they act as independent systems and operate on different platforms.
In the future, the site will adapt to each user depending on his profile of consumption of mobile services and lifestyle. This approach will allow the subscriber to get the necessary information or make a purchase in a single space, which combines the functionality of the corporate site, personal account and the operator's online store. In addition, the introduction of the Oracle Commerce industrial solution will ensure that Tele2 digital resources are ready for high loads, reduce the cost of [1] IT infrastructure[1].

The beta version of the site is valid in the regions: Moscow, St. Petersburg and Murmansk. The translation of regional Tele2 sites is carried out by AT Consulting. According to the statement of the project participants, Tele2 will update regional resources in early 2017.
