Positioner - underwater GLONASS
On December 8, 2016 it became known of development in St. Petersburg of the system of navigation and communication Positioner. It helps the underwater UAV to determine location by hydroacoustic buoys beacons.
A system consists of autonomous underwater vehicles, sonobuoys with the equipment of satellite communication Messenger-D1M and navigation of GLONASS. Underwater robots patrol areas at a depth up to 8 km., being guided on hydroacoustic buoys beacons at the bottom. In them are put ultraprecise coordinates, having received which, the UAV specifies the location and continues the movement, buoys serve and for information transfer on a surface[1].
A system is completely ready to deployment. The bottom near the gas sea Prirazlomnaya platform will become its first area. Based on our means creation of a global information network-centric system of underwater monitoring and service of areas of oil production is planned. |
In the Positioner system it is supposed to use several types of buoys: underwater, floating and even vmorazhivayemy in ice.
