Samara Heart clinic buys the equipment of Medtronic

On January 11, 2017 it became known of the beginning of cooperation of Heart clinic with the American producer of the medical equipment Medtronic. Partnership concerns deliveries of devices and supplies and also training of staff of medical institution.

According to Kommersant with reference to the Head of Department "Integrated solutions in the field of health care" of Medtronic in Russia of Mikhail Kiselyov, the company will help Heart clinic to equip four angiographic operating rooms (with subsequent deliveries of consumables) and to create a consignment warehouse of products.

It is expected that the project will increase efficiency and will improve clinical and economic results of work of Heart clinic.

It is the innovation business model which is focused on cooperation and development of the long-term partnership with medical institutions for provision of services connected with efficiency of operational departments (in particular, laboratories of a kateterization), and improvements of results of treatment of patients. Started this model of Medtronic of the first in the country about one and a half years ago. Heart clinic is our first pilot project in Russia within which this business model is implemented. One of our key tasks in the project — to expand access for the Russian patients to the high-quality hi-tech help — Mikhail Kiselyov noted.

The CEO "The international Medical Center "Heart clinic" Anna Makovskaya says that cooperation with Medtronic will allow organization to render high-quality medical services of the patient and will provide confidence in accurate observance of conventional operational processes when rendering the cardiac help.

In addition to supplies of equipment and component parts, partnership will assume the help of Medtronic in training of medical personnel of clinic.^[1]
