Softline provided stability of work of IT infrastructure of Seversky Pipe Plant

On January 11, 2017 the Softline company announced project completion on delivery of conditioning systems to IT management of Seversky Pipe Plant.

Project Tasks

For ensuring necessary level of temperature in own data center including the main and reserve server premises, the Seversky Pipe Plant needed the climatic equipment having high degree of fault tolerance. Existence of technical support of proposed solution in the region was one of the main requirements of the customer. Such conditions are set in connection with regular failure of expensive compressors of foreign production and absence in the city of the specialized service center for repair of equipment of a similar class.

Project Results

The solution provided optimum allocation of hot and cold air flows indoors, has the centralized management console, searching tools of faults and status monitoring of the equipment, means of remote access and a physical key for blocking of settings. Specialists of Softline succeeded to increase efficiency of refrigeration units and to provide easy access of personnel to the equipment. Specialists of Softline also proposed services in technical support solutions and to replacement of supplies, planned service of the equipment and automatic equipment.

Implementing solutions reduced costs of the enterprise for service of IT infrastructure and ensured smooth operation of the server hardware.
