"Road builder" equipped special transport with monitors

On January 19, 2017 the Omnicomm company announced the project in Dorozhnik company where system implementation of satellite monitoring of Omnicomm Online is carried out. The project was executed by Alliance Omnikomm company.

Project Results

Implementation of monitoring of Omnicomm Online transport in the customer's vehicle fleet, was preceded by a number of factors:

• transition from the set fuel consumption rates to write-off upon,
• fight against fuel plunder
• inappropriate use of the equipment in working time.

Satellite monitoring of Omnicomm Online transport was decided to be delivered as to it there was no due control of driver's structure – we noted fuel plunder cases, on some units the fuel consumption was overestimated, works were performed not always properly. For a month of test operation of Omnicomm Online on 3 units of special equipment it was succeeded to correct the set fuel consumption rate in 3700 liters downwards to 2800 liters, it became the basis for further equipment of vehicle fleet technology.

Having integrated all vehicle fleet, and these are 150 pieces of equipment, in a single system of satellite monitoring our expectations were met. In the first 6 months of use of Omnicomm Online a number of unauthorized drainings of fuel was stopped, the drivers who are systematically violating rules traffic regulations, in particular the high-speed mode are revealed and punished. Also we changed work payment terms, now the driver gets paid upon the work performed by it. Daily the manager using Omnicomm Online traces the working day of this or that driver based on what the payroll is accrued. Implementation of this solution allowed us not only to carry out careful job analysis and then scheduled maintenance with drivers, but to reduce fuel consumption by 30%, in terms of money rather impressive amount turns out.
