In the Ministry of Finance of RB the implementation project of the systems of analytics of Teradata is complete

At the beginning of 2017 the Teradata corporation announced end of the next stage of the project in the Ministry of Finance of Republic of Belarus.

Within the project expansion of technology of an analytical data storage for needs of department was implemented. Systems for the industrial environment and a development environment and testing allow not only to implement performance requirements, but also to adapt flexibly to the changing loading considering abilities to integrate with the existing infrastructure. All components of this solution are constructed based on scalable massive and parallel Teradata technologies.

Information on a profitable and account part of execution of budgets of all levels, financing sources, plans of budgets of all levels is loaded into PTK "Data Warehouse and Reporting System" of the Ministry of Finance of Republic of Belarus and the operational reporting on execution of the republican budget is implemented. For the purpose of ensuring the principle of transparency of formation of budget data specialists of Teradata take part in formation of an information resource for the regular publication on the bulletin Internet about execution of local budgets, the republican budget and consolidated budget of Republic of Belarus.

Andrey Narchuk, the Head of department of perspective development of the Ministry of Finance of Republic of Belarus emphasized that the projects implemented with participation of the World Bank are aimed at the development and upgrade of the information management system by public finances of Republic of Belarus. He especially noted what taking into account active development of budget classification is represented especially important to achieve high extent of process automation of operational creation of forms of financial statements. At the same time data are used in real time with their detailing at all levels of a financial system of the republic. For this purpose we in addition to own developments use solutions of Teradata company which specialists during joint work proved as professionals of the high level and reliable partners."

Further stages of the project include use of the Teradata platform for data processing at creation of the detailed budgetary forecasts, mid-term financial planning, formation of long-term strategy and plans, assessment of financial risks, deep efficiency analysis and effectiveness of state programs, problems of financial control and also development of analytics of public finances.
