On November 13, 2018 the AMT Group company announced project completion on development and deployment of an end-to-end system of quality control of a corporate data network for the State Ryazan instrument plant (JSC GRPZ). According to the company, the multilevel stack of the systems and solutions covering all IT infrastructure of the enterprise will allow to make it more service-oriented and the standing production tasks directed to economical and effective solution.
Project Objective
Creation of a single system of quality control of IT infrastructure of the plant as sets of the subsystems, control objects, actions, methods and means aimed at providing and maintenance of the high level of quality of work of IT services at the JSC GRPZ enterprise was the purpose of works. For November, 2018 the projectible capacity of a system – an ability to manage in not less than 20,000 configuration units (technology and business processes, systems, hardware components, the equipment, etc.) with a possibility of further expansion.
The efficiency of automated systems of the plant is defined, including that, the separate systems and also their availability to users (designers, technologists, financiers and other specialists) are how qualitatively integrated among themselves. As applied automated systems of modern engineering enterprise were historically created taking into account features of products and each system is unique, the decision to develop own concept of the end-to-end system of management integrating possibilities of an integration bus, instruments of monitoring of the program and hardware systems and also supports of jobs of users was made. Project Task
Specialists of AMT Group were faced by a task, on the one hand, to save already available intellectual heritage, data, systems, with another – to prepare infrastructure of the enterprise for implementation of systems and solutions in the field of automated design engineering systems, design-technology preparation of production, the normative reference information taking into account modern requirements of industry and cross-industry integration. Proceeding from this task two main areas of work were created: integration of the diverse systems among themselves and creation of a quality control system of functioning of all diverse and constantly developing IT infrastructure, especially in places of interface of its separate elements among themselves and with other elements of infrastructure of the enterprise.
Project Progress
The complete solution proposed by AMT Group contains, in addition to program a component, certain practicians, methods, organizational changes. Modules of monitoring, integration, automation of workflows and also planning tools and control were a technology part of the solution. Besides, all accompanying documentation on these products was created.
When choosing a component of the created quality control system a choice for benefit of solutions with open source codes was made. The choice was caused by several circumstances. As showed the preproject analysis, in addition to a ratio price/quality at the time of purchase and implementation, the lack of need to pay considerable periodic runtime royalty fees to the foreign developer becomes an important point. In addition, the open code allows to reduce risk of malicious impacts on an enterprise information system at the expense of the simplified performing procedures of check by vulnerabilities and lack of not declared opportunities and also operational elimination of the revealed shortcomings. One more advantage of such solutions – the organization of their further support by own forces of the customer.
As a part of a program part of the solution of AMT Group suggested to use several modules which were implemented as a uniform complex:
- The module "Desk Service" is automation of basic processes of Service Management;
- The module "Management of the Directory of Services" is formation of the uniform directory of IT services;
- The module "Layer Management of Service of IT Services" is formation of requirements and SLA to the provided IT services;
- The module "Management of Configuration Units" is accounting of all program and the hardware of the enterprise;
- The module "SKK Portal" is the instrument of information representation to the guide to a status of all IT infrastructure of the enterprise;
- The module of monitoring of corporate network and servers – the management tool events in IT infrastructure;
- The module of an integration bus – the environment of the guaranteed delivery of these and integration exchanges between systems.
Modules are interconnected in a single system, for unification of data exchange between them the integration bus is also used.
Project Results
The implemented complex of solutions affected and changed work of several directions. For November, 2018 the effect of implementation totally was reached, at least, in three directions of business in general:
- Technology direction. The systemacity in development of integration aspects of IT infrastructure of applications is provided, standardization and standardization of the applied integration solutions is carried out. Within the project the uniform integration application environment which allowed to integrate a diverse application stack of the customer, implemented for more than 10 years was created. Reliable and transparent data exchange between all systems of the customer is as a result organized, the potential for seamless implementation of the next information systems and services is put.
- Service direction. Resource and time expenditure at implementation of planning and holding procedures of internal control behind IT infrastructure of the plant is reduced. Monitoring of objects of IT infrastructure is provided, collecting of parameters of their work for the analysis and control is configured. The service model of the enterprise was actually systematized and arranged, degree of readiness of systems, technical and software products is raised. All these results, in turn, can be directly transformed to performance improvement of work of all enterprise.
- Organizational. The directory of IT services of the enterprise is created and existence of a uniform source of information on all IT services of the enterprise is provided. Basic processes of IT department are formalized and automated. Optimization of structure of IT department and an organization structure of the customer according to the revealed relevant and perspective requirements of business, the development strategy of the enterprise is executed.
AMT Group, within the agreement of technical support, renders comprehensive support and individual development of all constructed complex. Development and expansion of functionality of a system happens taking into account responses and proposals of specialists of JSC GRPZ received in the course of use of a system. Further transition to independent support of a system by the customer is planned.
2017
On January 24, 2017 the AMT Group company announced the project on information security support in JSC State Ryazan Instrument Plant. The system of the unidirectional data transmission the AMT InfoDiode became a basic element of a system of defense of perimeter of the enterprise customer.
Project Tasks
Main objective of works - increase in level of security of information resources of JSC GRPZ, reduction of an information security system of the enterprise in compliance with requirements of FSTEC and corporate standards of security of Rostec State corporation.
Solution development for defense of perimeter of a corporate data network of the plant from external threats of information security was coming specialists of AMT Group. One of requirements to the created system - to exclude the human factor capable to lead to decrease in level of protection. Considering industry specifics of the customer and the requirement to cybersecurity, as a principal component of the created system it is offered to use the hardware-software complex (HSC) of InfoDiode.
Project Progress
In the project of JSC GRPZ the AMT InfoDiode it is used for isolation of critical information systems from impact of third-party threats of information security. At the same time the possibility of technology information exchange with external systems remains.
Project Results
When choosing solution components, in particular, of the AMT InfoDiode, we were guided by especially pragmatic criteria. The continuity of deliveries of such equipment and its service support in the Russian Federation, confidence in lack of not declared opportunities of deliverable complexes and their certification on compliance to domestic requirements for information security were compulsory provisions.
