Creation of a metrocluster of data storage

The Lanit-Partner company unrolled a distributed network of data storage of the Government of the Magadan region and on its base constructed a data storage metrocluster on two spaced platforms.

The metrocluster provides data protection and their continuous availability at routine maintenance or failures with hardware failures. Data are processed and stored at the same time on two platforms in different buildings, and in case of failure on one of them work is automatically continued on the second platform without interruption or with the minimum idle time.

In the project hybrid storage systems of SC Compellent of Dell company were used.

High degree of availability of the state information systems is directly connected with reliability and smooth operation of server and network framework. Due to disaster-proof technologies the selected solution provides reliable storage and data transmission without loss and suspensions of providing services. Specialists Lanit-Partner performed start of infrastructure in short terms without breaks in service of users — Valentin Klyushenkov, the deputy manager of department of information technologies and communications of the Government of the Magadan region told.

Our customers got used to systems without uniform point of failure when construction means duplication of all important nodes (the power supply, the controller, an access path to data, etc.). Duplication of everything, except the body, unfortunately, will not save data at the fire and flooding. Thanks to application of a disaster-proof cluster solution the Government of the Magadan region received reliable infrastructure of data storage in DPC with a possibility of almost instant migration of virtual environment from one physical platform on another without influence on work of services — Alexander Zakharov, the director of the department of project management Lanit-Partner noted.

The organization of a transport network of communication based on MPLS

On January 26, 2017 the Lanit-Partner company announced the organization of a transport network of communication on the basis of the MPLS protocol for administration of the Magadan region.

Project Results

The Danit-Partnyor company unrolled a city transport network of communication for the Government of the Magadan region based on technology of multiprotocol label switching (MPLS). The functionality and opportunities of the used technology will allow the regional government to act as the supplier of services and services for participants of network - providing Internet access, creation of the corporate protected VPN networks and transfer of multimedia traffic.

The constructed system of network transport integrated for information exchange the public authorities of different level located in Magadan provided the platform for interaction of other budget organizations over the general transport.

Transition to the system of network transport to MPLS technologies allows us to integrate public authorities and budgetary institutions in a single corporate network.
