Softline provides operability of IT infrastructure of Department for GO, emergency and fire safety of Moscow

2018: Ensuring operability of IT infrastructure

On March 6, 2018 the Softline company announced ensuring operability of IT infrastructure of the Moscow Department for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Fire Safety.

The department provides operational interaction of departmental divisions in case of emergencies therefore imposes high requirements to support and service of own IT infrastructure.

Specialists of Softline give maintenance and support of IT infrastructure, and if necessary connect to problem solving of producers of IT solutions. Within the public contract the Call center and the portal of order taking from the customer's users is organized, the selected IT specialists work at platforms. Softline services about 200 platforms, about 2 thousand PCs and 200 servers, the park of the multiple copying equipment and the other periphery.

Softline performs delivery of spare parts, performs repair and scheduled works on service.

2017: Upgrade of a complex of satellite video broadcasting

On February 2, 2017 the Softline company announced upgrade of a complex of satellite video broadcasting and a mobile complex of informing the population by request of the Moscow Department for Civil Defence, Emergencies and Fire Safety.

Project Progress

Specialists of the contractor upgraded a mobile complex of the notification of the population. It is intended for acceptance of information on emergencies from service on duty and dispatching and warning of them. The mobile complex is equipped with loudspeakers, the amplifier and a radio system. For a power supply of the amplifier, a mixer and loudspeakers the transformer of constant voltage of the rechargeable battery was modified. The equipment allows to reproduce the majority of modern audioformats.

In the course of works specialists re-equipped a complex of satellite video broadcasting KSVT-2. It is used as the mobile reporting station for delivery video also by audioinformation from the place of incidents in the situational centers Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The customer needed to expand functionality of the equipment to use KSVT-2 as the mobile communication hub and the mobile unit of management. It demanded upgrade of communication systems and life support. For comfortable work of task force re-planning of a body part of the car is carried out. Spaces for placement of the equipment, storage of loads, holding meetings are selected. The complex is equipped the modern systems of telephony and data transmission on the basis of IP protocols with a possibility of operational deployment of a local network in works location and integration with the selected Emercom of Russia network on satellite and to 3G-channels.

For reliability augmentation of a satellite link between KSVT-2 and the situational centers the reporting station of satellite communication is upgraded. The complex is equipped with the equipment of VHF and Shortwave communication of all standards used in Emercom of Russia network. The set platform of video surveillance allows to receive the video hi-res picture round the clock, in any weather conditions.

Project Results

We upgraded the equipment according to technical requirements of the customer and accounting of specifics of its activity. Solutions which equipped cars are failsafe, support standard transfer protocols of audio-and video signals, are suitable for work even in extreme conditions. It should be noted that similar developments can be adapted also for other government institutions using specialized automotive equipment depending on an activity profile, for example, in law enforcement agencies – for bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation.
