For February 14, 2017 Golas - a voice automated system (GOLAS) for management of a warehouse and the check sheets.

On February 14, 2017 CST company announced an output to the market of GOLAS technology. The technology is focused on use in the systems of logistics and warehouse economy.

Using GOLAS, employees of a warehouse can avoid need of viewing information for the tablet or paper lists, they will receive voice instructions from GOLASA in the dialog mode. A system acts on the Russian, English and Kazakh languages, at the request of the customer can "learn" Tajik or Uzbek.

A system works by the principle of Voice Picking (engl. "set on a voice") — a system dictates the list for formation of the order to the warehouse worker in the earphone. It is convenient during the work on the loader or in a large-size goods warehouse which needs to be held two hands. The employee does not need to press the buttons and to use the touch display therefore during the work in cold premises it is not necessary to withdraw means of protecting.

Such solution depending on the industry and processes pays off in 12-18 months. Pickers work at a warehouse quicker (performance improvement up to 35%), they have less chances to make mistakes: so far the person will not report that the necessary goods put in the right place, a system will not issue it the following task (the quantity of errors decreases by two-three times). It is very simple to work with GOLASOM, the employee can be trained in one or two days therefore even in the conditions of big routine of the personnel in warehouses it will not make any problem.

Mobile terminal GOLASA is expected daily intensive use. It is adapted for work in low temperatures (on the street, in refrigerators, freezing chambers), equipped with powerful batteries and does not require permanent wireless connection to the server.

The technology is suitable for optimization of work in warehouse logistics, retail networks, online stores, food production, etc.

As GOLAS works:

  • the warehouse supervisor creates structure of the order and loads it into an accounting system WMS ERP (or). In it the order is transferred to the step-by-step instruction — for example in what section, on what rack, on what shelf how many commodity units need to be taken.
  • the instruction goes to the mobile voice terminal fixed on a belt at the picker.
  • the synthesized voice "on steps" issues commands to the employee: for example, to take 30 commodity units And on the second shelf of a rack of A1.
  • the picker executes a command and reports about it in the microphone
  • GOLAS issues it the next step of the instruction.

Process repeats until the order is fully completed. The worker can ask a system to repeat information if he did not catch or forgot the instruction. The level of proficiency in language and defects of diction do not influence recognition - GOLAS will recognize the speech even in the noisy premises.

The voice module from CST synthesizes the speech one of nine standard voices in Russian, English or Kazakh. Considering personnel specifics of the Russian warehouses, developers on demand offer installation of synthesis and recognition of the Uzbek and Tajik languages.
