Thick Sevastopol a complex of the specialized equipment on the basis of RFID technology for digitization, storage and information processing. The company set in library anti-theft gate which "react" a sound signal to unauthorized carrying out of the books marked by RFID tags and also the station of self-issue in department of service.

"This device without participation of the librarian identifies books, assigns them to the specific reader, turns off 'anti-theft' function of a tag and issues the receipt with the list of the taken books and information on the term of return of literature. Also each reader can check what books are registered for him. It is enough to attach the library card to the device, to put the book on the platform and to select the corresponding button. All — operation is completed" — Elena Volkova, the director of library told.

Multifunction stations equip jobs of librarians. Stations allow automatically, to register readers without use of the paper form. In addition to the equipment for automation of work of library on service of readers, in organization the planetary scanner "Elarskan A2-300" is filled. With its help employees will digitize books for the center of study of local lore which is open in library this year.

"Digitization will allow to expand considerably possibilities of the center and library, for example, will allow to participate in the all-Russian projects, such as National digital library, local history literary projects and also to create own full text bases" — Elena Volkova added.
