Avinor began upgrade of an enterprise management system

On February 28, 2017 the IFS company announced upgrade of software of IFS Applications in Avinor company.

It is supposed that with transition to the version of IFS Applications 9 the Avinor company will have an opportunity to transfer the existing applications for enterprise management to an environment with a multi-tier architecture and the upgraded support the model providing reduction in cost of installation of updates and adding of new features of software.

We made the decision on transition to the version of IFS Applications 9 because we see big advantage in use of the ERP system which is regularly updated according to the last technology achievements. The companies interact since 1996, then IFS Applications implemented as the main managing system for city airport of Oslo. In 2012 the Avinor company made the decision on implementation of IFS Applications 8 for control and management [Business process|business processes]] networks of 46 airports across all Norway. In 2013 a system was supplemented with statistic reports for socially oriented functional areas (health, security, the environment, quality).
