as a part of a product for automation of sales of fuel to corporate transport without prepayment

In Russia the digital solution for automation of sales of fuel to corporate transport without prepayment on 5000 gas stations is developed. The BSK group reported about it on November 2, 2020.

In Russia the entrepreneurs having corporate transport will be able to pay fuel for vehicle fleet from the smartphone through mobile application and the business card tied to it issued to the bank account of the organization. Service "BENZUBER for Business", Sferabank (entering into the BKS financial group) and Visa created joint digital the product for small and medium business allowing to save on fuel due to reduction of bank transactions and the number of cards and accounts which needed to be conducted for each car earlier.

The implemented solution allows to work without advance payments for fuel, to multiply reduce the accounting document flow connected with the reporting, calculation of the VAT and other labor-consuming transactions requiring application of manual work.

The mobile solution allows to fill transport of the company without the commissions through mobile application and without fuel cards. Drivers, according to the estimates of developers, will manage to save till 4 o'clock in a month on gas station as the fuel-dispensing column at gas station joins through the application, without participation of the operator of gas station. Expense control on fuel happens in real time in a personal account of the BENZUBER platform FOR BUSINESS which is managed by the accountant or the director, owning transport. The mobile solution gives the chance of installation of fuel limits on each driver. The service allows to send reporting documents (UPD) on electronic document management directly to the accounting program of the enterprise.

Earlier paperwork became the reason of preservation of the industry of payment of corporate gasoline. In the past of the organization preferred to buy fuel cards, to accept checks from drivers, to monitor their authenticity and to make a set of transactions to make an elementary thing – to fill the car at the expense of the organization and not to break the law.

Besides purchase of fuel is performed by the praktichekski a direct debit of the bank account of the enterprise and no prepayment and advance payments is necessary, - the founder of BENZUBER service Artem Skvortsov notes.

The period of a pandemic became check on durability for many industries, however those who were not to rapid acceleration of digitalization met the most great difficulties. Fortunately, in the transport sector there are companies providing technological solutions to facilitate life of entrepreneurs. Support is performed as the advanced financial technical-players, such, by both BENZUBER, and financial ecosystems with powerful digital infrastruktory as VISA or the BKS group. It is sure that the effect of threefold synergy will allow the transport industry not only to endure the post-crisis period, but to gain the lead in technology equipment, - Igor Viryasov, the head of Sfera bank commented.

It is not the first joint product which is released by VISA and the BKS financial group, using payment infrastructure of fuel processing from BENZUBER. In the middle of the quarantine caused by a pandemic, the companies gave a gasoline payment opportunity on credit.

The possibility of payment of fuel is on credit

On May 19, 2020 it was announced start of service for payment of fuel at gas station on credit. He earned based on the Benzuber project at cooperation with Visa and financial supermarket "Одобрим.ру" (enters into BKS holding).

Within the new project the digital maps allowing to fill cars by installments are issued. The maximum amount of a non-interest loan makes 15 thousand rubles, it is issued in the form of fuel for two weeks.  In case of delay on  an outstanding debt 59% per annum and  a penalty  in the amount of 20% per annum will be charged. At the same time  the card does not provide any discounts for fuel.

By May 19, 2020 it is possible to pay off with this card more than on  4 thousand  gas stations in Russia, 500 of which are  in the territory of Moscow and  Moscow area.   Such large networks as Rosneft, Lukoil or Gazpromneft do not participate in the project.  Generally it is private gas stations and  small networks of fueling stations. But it is going to increase the number  of the gas stations participating in the project by  100  in a month, Vedomosti with reference to the founder of service Artyom Skvortsov writes.

The president of the Independent fuel union (integrates independent gas stations) Pavel Bazhenov in a conversation with the edition dropped a hint of doubt that an opportunity to purchase fuel on credit will become serious competitive advantage for gas station. It is only additional service which will not make weather, he is sure. Besides there are many alternative offers – "other cards of payment by installments, credit cards with a grace period where conditions are more loyal, and it is possible to pay not only for gasoline". In Russia about 25 thousand gas stations and 4000 in the offer of Benzuber are quite a lot, a question in where they are located, Bazhenov added.

In Russia service for refueling cars on credit on 15 thousand rubles is started

Artyom Skvortsov says that service will help with situations when it is urgently necessary to go on the car, but there is no money for its gas station. Also it can be useful to taxi drivers who can purchase gasoline in the morning, and in the evening – to pay for it, he explained.^[1]

2019: Integration into mobile application of Rentmee

On September 5, 2019 the SKON company reported that the carsharing company RENTMEE (Avto LLC) integrated service for remote payment of BENZUBER fuel (Smart-tekhnologii Trading House LLC) into the mobile application. Read more here.

2017: Benzuber start

On March 3, 2017 the SKON company announced start in Yekaterinburg of an online service of payment of fuel at gas station by means of mobile application of Benzuber.

By means of service the user can pay and receive fuel, using the smartphone, without the appeal to cash desk of gas station. Payment is made by the bank or fuel card linked to the client's profile in mobile application.

At the gas station connected to service, the user starts the application, selects from application number of a column and a type of fuel, enters quantity in liters or the amount in rubles and performs payment operation.

A system automatically includes a fuel-dispensing column and releases the paid fuel quantity.

The last 1.5 years SKON worked on service for motorists and created actually gas station "in a pocket". Benzuber is mobile application for smartphones based on operating systems iOS and Android and also the transaction infrastructure allowing owners of smartphones to fill the car through the application.
