Roskosmos implemented a monitoring system of controlled enterprises

On March 10, 2017 the press service of JSC Rossiyskiye kosmicheskiye sistemy announced development and deployment of an industry monitoring system of the enterprises of Roskosmos State corporation.

The monitoring system of crucial objects of Roskosmos State corporation was created since 2008.

Specialists of RKS equipped with sensors and supervisory equipment 41 enterprises for all Russia and 13 objects at the Baikonur spaceport, 18 enterprises received a monitoring system of transportations. All sensors using the special software are united in network. The information access was got: the Industry center of system monitoring and operational management of ROSKOSMOS State corporation located in RKS, the management of State corporation and the holdings entering into its structure.

Project Results

Within this project we could work a number of universal technologies in practice. Their implementation in the space-rocket industry – the first step to creation of infrastructure for a distributed automation system of management of lifecycles on production. Feature of the solutions developed by us is the possibility of consolidation of the separate systems, capable to autonomous functioning. In practice it means that our development can be scaled from the separate enterprise to all industrial complex of Russia. The monitoring system helps to prevent occurrence of extreme situations on potentially dangerous objects. For example, special gas analyzers control the content in air of particles of rocket fuel and oxidizer in storage locations and fillings of units. In case of approach of values to threshold limit value the relevant information instantly comes on the person on duty panel at the enterprise and to information center of Roskosmos State corporation.

The monitoring system promotes quality improvement of products. All information on observance of technology conditions of production can be traced up to separate workshops on any of controlled entities. Sensors collect information on humidity, temperature and content in air of particles of dust. These indicators are crucial, for example, for quality of electronic products.

A system already allowed to reveal a number of violations on which the corresponding inspections were carried out. Each case of operation of sensors is carefully analyzed and recorded. Now it is impossible to hide even small violations – for example if the employee at the enterprise comes into "the net premises" in dirty footwear or without special clothes, we will record it on operation of sensors of level of dust content. Sensors equip the vehicles of the enterprises transporting dangerous and valuable loads. Information arriving from sensors is controlled in the Industry center:

• acceleration,
• blows,
• temperature moisture conditions,
• concentration of toxic agents
• coordinates of motor and railway transport (using GLONASS),
• other parameters.
