2020: Completion of creation of the test water area of E-navigation
The Kronstadt Technologies company (enters into group"Kronstadt") executed two important government contracts Ministry of Transport Russia within the FTP"GLONASS", having completed creation of the test water area of E-navigation (ROC E-sea) and formation of the Uniform collection of electronic navigation charts of internal waterways RUSSIAN FEDERATION (Karta-Reka project). It became known on November 3, 2020.
ROC E-sea was executed by Kronstadt group from 2016 to 2020 and consisted in creation of the test water area providing comprehensive check and working off of the developed navigation, coherent, information systems and complexes of ship and coastal hierarchical infrastructure within the global concept of E-navigation. Increase in safety of navigation and navigation on the waterways of the Russian Federation and also growth of efficiency of shipping became the purpose of work. As a result of the performed works the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation received not just a polygon for working off and testing of digital solutions, but the only platform of E-navigation in the country on which the leading developments for unmanned commercial navigation will accumulate that will help to bring Russia to one level with other leading countries in this area.
We are sure that in our country new technologies will be applied most effectively and will promote the fastest implementation of autonomous and unmanned technologies of navigation for courts and also sea and river infrastructure. By the way, good news – in 2020 based on our test water area of E-navigation is created one more platform – the test water area UAV intended for testing of unmanned courts, - Andrey Rodionov told. |
Also he announced that, "Kronstadt Technologies" completed creation of the database of navigation information and electronic navigation charts of the internal waterways of the Russian Federation within the Karta-Reka project which was also executed for the benefit of Ministry of Transport and Rosmorrechflot since 2009. The electronic navigation charts (ENC) of the internal waterways of the Russian Federation which underwent cameral testing in FBU "Administration Volga-Baltic Waterway" are used for the security of navigation of vessels and watercrafts equipped with the corresponding display systems of ENK. In total Kronstadt digitized and updated maps of the navigable rivers 69,784 km long and loaded them into the Data Base of the Uniform collection of electronic navigation charts of the internal waterways of the Russian Federation for further use. At the same time, the company carried out large-scale work on development of offers to regulating documents regarding requirements to the state navigation charts of GDP of the Russian Federation, production and cost of measurements on the lakes and water reservoirs entering the "List of the internal waterways of the Russian Federation" approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation. Along with creation of base of electronic cards the exit cycle of training of specialists was carried out, and in Basin administrations the equipment, necessary for work, was installed and the software[1].
2016: Kronstadt will complete the next phase of the Karta-Reka project
The Kronstadt group won in the summer of 2016 tender for accomplishment of the next stage of the Karta-Reka project within the FTP "Global navigation system (GLONASS)" in 2016.
Along with creation of base of electronic cards within the FTP of GLONASS the exit cycle of training of specialists is carried out and delivery and installation to basin administrations of the equipment, necessary for work, and the software is performed.
In April, 2016 the Kronstadt group announced the beginning of training in basin administrations of internal waterways of the country which purpose was an increase in level of competences of specialists on the modern equipment and mastering of the software: ship obstanovochny complexes, the systems of coordinate control of the dredge, the automated promerno-prospecting complexes.
The company takes part in the Karta-Reka project since 2004; since 2011 all complex of works on creation of electronic cards on internal waterways is performed by request of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and includes creation of new electronic maps of navigable waterways and also correction of the electronic cards which are earlier created by the company.
