On March 16, 2017 the Smart Engines company announced Smart IDReader system implementation in Post Bank.

Project Progress

Post Bank scaled the technical solution allowing to automate manual process of input of passport data of clients at a design of financial products on all retail network. The Smart Engines company acted as the supplier of technology.

Service processes the copy or the picture of the passport of the client taken by the employee of the bank using the scanner or the webcam, automatically reads out information from the image and predzapolnyat fields in appropriate section of a frontal CRM system data of the second and third pages of the passport of the citizen of the Russian Federation. If data are recognized correctly, then they are entered automatically. If is not present, then the blank fields will be illuminated in red color to minimize risk of further use of malformed data.

After prefilling of necessary forms with a system the employee the front line verifies passport data of the client with the original document. Performance of technical solution on processing of passports is 7.5 thousand recognitions per hour counting on main core. At the same time on recognition of one image of the passport less than 1 second are required.
