Post Bank made Agile a component of development of IT as this methodology allows to accelerate implementation of new products and to make it more managed, simple and intensive. Told TAdviser in September, 2016 about it Andrey Frolov, the adviser to the president of Post Bank for IT.
This approach corresponds to the main objectives of development of retail bank: quick start of convenient products and also continuous and reliable customer service, Frolov noted. The Post Bank created at the beginning of 2016 based on Summer of Bank in not the so long-term future is going to become one of the largest banks in Russia. Development of its branch network assumes opening in 2016-2018 about 15 thousand client centers in departments of a mail service. Besides, Post Bank will be provided in all client centers, racks of sales and POS points Summer of Bank.
In July Post Bank invited the consultant for rendering implementation services of flexible methodologies of management of Agile in the organization by purchase execution of these services[1] at the only supplier -Ikstrek companies (works under the ScrumTrek brand).
Services are rendered in a format of coaching of pilot commands. Within the contract the contractor should hold seminars for heads and project teams of Post Bank, help in the organization of joint work over big products and project portfolios of the company, to render assistance in search, the analysis and the system solution of the problems arising at commands, to help with application engineering the practician on the real project, etc.
Andrey Frolov notes that at a certain stage, at the beginning of the development, in bank (at that time - at Summer of Bank) development on Agile was conducted.

According to him, the bank analyzed the activity and came to a conclusion that when he was engaged in development of IT in Agile, was successful and dynamic. Now the bank decided to formalize this philosophy and to deliver on "more cultural rails".
