Entering passport data and other documents is one of the most routine and resource-intensive tasks for bank employees working with customers and their data. In most cases, all information has to be filled out manually, which takes a long time. At the same time, the quality of data entry depends on the employee's fatigue during the working day. In order to reduce possible errors and improve the efficiency of business processes, ELMA and Smart Engines provided VESTA Bank with a joint solution that allows you to automatically recognize the passport and enter data into the BPM system in a few seconds.

Now, when opening a bank account or performing any operations in which representatives of companies and individual entrepreneurs need to provide a passport, bank employees do not need to drive identifications the data necessary for the client. It is enough only to scan or show the passport to the webcam and Smart IDReader technology will automatically extract data that is used to search for information about the client in the bank's information system. If a customer is found, an existing customer card will open in the system, if not, the operator will be asked to create a new card.

High-quality technologies of automatic recognition and data entry significantly speed up the process of customer service, make it more comfortable for the client. 2018: Automation of key bank processes

On July 24, 2018, Elma announced that VestaBank employees automated all key processes using the ELMA BPM system, which allowed the bank to increase its rating in the small business services segment.

The ELMA implementation project started in VestaBank in 2016. The main objective of the project was to reduce the time and cost of processing applications for comfortable and fast servicing of small and medium-sized businesses.

A month after the start of the project, the bank automated the main grocery process - the opening of a settlement account. As a result, the cost of the process decreased several times, the quality of customer experience increased. Automation reduced the order of six FTE (Full-Time Employee), with an increase in the flow of applications to 20 thousand per month. As of July 2018, 18,227 transactions per month are carried out in the system under this process.

Further, employees set up KPI and integrated the BPM system with ABS, specialized external resources and databases, a web service for checking counterparties, social networks and instant messengers. The introduction of the KPI system and the formation of monthly reports improved executive discipline and reduced the number of errors. The bank's document flow is also fully automated. All reconciliations and document checks take place in the system. Financial monitoring services are also completely switching to ELMA.

As of July 2018, the entire bank operates in the ELMA system: specialists of the front-line subdivision, the back-side subdivision - more than 80 users in total. The system has been put into industrial operation and is fully supported by the bank's specialists.

The main result of the ELMA project in VestaBank was the growth of the bank's position in its market segment.
