"Continent" implemented IT infrastructure

On March 24, 2017 the Softline company announced creation of IT infrastructure for alcoholic and tobacco distributor of Kontinent LLC.

Project Progress

As the IT partner in the project the Softline company acted. After express inspection of the operating IT system the project team picked up the equipment and the software.

The functional storage system of Netapp and network equipment of OceanStor became a hardware basis of IT infrastructure. The fault tolerance and reliability of infrastructure provide the server hardware and powerful uninterruptible power supply unit of Dell.

During commissioning engineers of Softline installed VMware vSphere hypervisor on the Dell PowerEdge server hardware. Configured SAN network to which connected a storage system.

Connected SAN networks and servers that allowed to integrate their resources in a cluster. Trained the client's IT employees in primary skills of administration of IT infrastructure.

Project Results

Clients for the purpose of inspection of their IT infrastructure – because of emergence of problems with performance or fault tolerance often address us. And we help them to upgrade the existing IT systems. In this case we had to build IT infrastructure of the big company from scratch. Receiving the new IT infrastructure conforming to the highest modern requirements became the main project deliverable for us. It concerns opportunities of scalability, high-speed performance of all information systems of the organization, their fault tolerance, availability of services.
