The Borlas group created an accounting system and planning of financial flows for the Russian representative office of Leroy Merlin. Using own developments, consultants of Borlas expanded possibilities of the ERP system of the retailer and increased efficiency of use of funds of the company. Due to implementation of the new automated features the financial discipline is improved and the labor input of processing of the growing flow of transactions is reduced.
As a basis of an information system for business management the company uses a complex of Oracle applications E-Business Suite, however the Russian requirements and conditions caused the necessity to improve a system for the best control of financial flows and at the same time simplification of work of financial specialists of the company.
For these purposes in Leroy Merlin a set of solutions based on the system of treasurer cash management (Borlas Cash Management) is implemented. The software solution is developed by specialists of Borlas company and is used with the financial modules Oracle E-Business Suite, expanding their opportunities and adapting to the Russian requirements in the field of management of finance.
Leroy Merlin of the solution "Borlasa" automates the following tasks:
- formation of the payment schedule for a year by banks and banking days on the basis of the annual budget of cash flow from Oracle Hyperion and other sources;
- planning of cash flows on a daily and monthly basis;
- online-control of the budget of cash flow;
- electronic approval of requests for payment and formation of the operational payment schedule;
- data loading from a system the client bank and control of the actual cash flow on banks and types of flows;
- reconciliation of the account balances and formation of synthesis of cash flows;
- control of transactions of hedging;
- database maintenance of credit lines, credits and deposits;
- calculation of the accrued interest on the credits and loans;
- registration of letters of credit, guarantees and control of limits of documentary operations.
