SAP Meter Data Management by Siemens

On March 30, 2017 the companies Siemens also SAP SE signed the agreement on the right of SAP to EnergyIP resale around the world. The partnership purpose — to implement scenarios of digital transformation in power and housing and public utilities.

A system is presented at the market under the name SAP Meter Data Management by Siemens. Release in the second quarter 2017^[1].

Siemens and SAP work with the power companies and the housing and public utilities enterprises long ago. Our EnergyIP platform for applications of intelligent power supply system in a combination with the SAP solutions for Utilities will allow to cover nearly a half of the power companies of the world and to move to qualitatively other level of data analysis. Collected information will become not just interesting, but practically useful. Complex digital business scenarios are a key to transformation of a power generating system.
