CarCoin Automobile marketplace

The CarCoin project is the decentralized automobile marketplace including the exchange of automobile works. One of the tasks the startup sees release of the market from gray schemes and illiquid transactions. The large number of intermediaries will be replaced by the digital assistant to the car owner who will analyze all information on operation of the vehicle and to help, for example, with record on car service or search of spare parts. Also digital CarCoin platform will give the chance to the driver to gain a passive income from use of the car by the principle of "earns as you drive".

The founder of the project Ivan Pekshev before began to be engaged in the innovation projects, worked in a car business.

"Every two weeks asked me for the help in selection or check of the car, at sales. Then I began to think how to digitize my experience and to monetize it what technologies allow to do it quickly, simply and clear for clients today. And there was an idea of the digital platform on which implementation I began to work in December, 2016" — Ivan Pekshev tells^[1].

Studying of data is one of the priority directions in CarCoin activity. As the author of a startup notes, the car of new generation is not only the vehicle, but also the gadget on wheels. It generates a large number of data, having learned to process which, it is possible to realize the most courageous business cases.

The project is in a stage of search of the strategic partner together with which will fulfill business logic and to type the database for decision making. The ecosystem of CarCoin should include the dealer centers, insurance companies and banks and also service stations, sellers of auto accessories, spare parts, and other representatives of the automobile market.

At the first stage of development the project is focused on the Russian market. Start of the pilot is planned in Moscow. On it it is necessary to solve a large number of problems of integration at one digital platform of different representatives of business, to check scalability of a system and to fulfill all business hypotheses. From start of the pilot until reaching production capacities there can pass from 6 to 12 months. The exit to international market is in the long term planned.

The startup uses artificial intelligence technologies (AI), Internet of Things and a blockchain and is developed in data-driven economy paradigm. CarCoin is going to implement the technology on Waves blockchain.

The Waves Platform command advises CarCoin developers in the direction of implementation of blockchain technology and provides infrastructure of the decentralized blockchain platform for release of digital values. In particular, the release of internal currency of the project — CarCoin tokens is provided — they can be used for payment of services of the platform, purchase of goods and services or their exchange at the internal exchange.

According to Alexander Ivanov, the CarCoin project is capable to interest investors.
