"Daughter" condemned "mother" on 407 million

The Moscow arbitration court supported in 2017 Ministry of Defence operatorVoentelecom — in its financial dispute with the defense ministry. As a result of the Ministry of Defence[1] will have to pay telekomovsky "daughter" about 407.4 million "unjust enrichment"[2].

The six-month-old period during which Voentelecom for lack of the signed contract continued to render to the parent company standard services became a disputed issue. Department considered that it is possible to pay only real agreements. Voentelecom did not agree with such formulation of the question.

A claim to the Ministry of Defence was submitted in July, 2017. The complete text of the solution on case is made on December 19, 2017. On the appeal of a verdict of court month is allotted to the ministry. At the time of an exit of material neither in the Ministry of Defence, nor in Voentelecom could not comment on a situation of CNews.

As it appears from materials of court, according to the solution of the President of Russia of July 2, 2013 and on the basis of the order of the Government of December 6, 2013 Voentelecom is the only contractor on rendering services in operational maintenance of cable lines, constructions and a communication equipment of the Russian Defense Ministry — for 2013 and planning period of 2014-2015.

Failover cluster of communication hubs

On April 24, 2017 the Voentelecom company announced creation of a failover cluster of communication hubs by request of the Ministry of Defence.

Developed Voentelecom and tested a failover cluster for complex equipment of communication hubs. As a part of a cluster a hardware modular platform and a set of the general and a specialized software[3].

Two servers in a node work in the mode of hot sparing, duplicating all functions and calculations. At failure of a primary server, there is an automatic switching to reserve, supporting work of virtual network functions (NFV).

The cluster ensures functioning of the server in the sector of open communication. It supports up to ten NFV in which number can join:

The customer can select a configuration and reserve the most critical for himself services, scaling the solution — both in the hardware, and in a program part.

As a part of the cluster equipment: a hardware platform on the basis of two central processors Intel E5-2620 v3 (Haswell, 6-core@2.4 of GHz, 15 MB cache, 85W TDP), four modules of memory (DIMM 8 GB, 1Rx4, 2133 MHz of DDR4) and two hard drives HDD SATA.

As representatives of the company contractor reported, software was created with participation of other Russian companies.

Solution of the problem of hot sparing in the environment of virtualization is proposed by two American companies, but in the Russian market such solution was not yet. Moreover, this solution is more perspective than a foreign analog and allows to receive almost smooth functioning of servers. The cluster is capable to support for each virtual machine to 160 virtual processors while foreign developments — only four.
