Facebook Free Basics

The Free Basics project created by Facebook allows people to get a free information access or to Internet services. The technology of free access to a certain set of the websites and resources through cellular communication is for this purpose used. Thanks to agreements with Facebook the information websites, projects about health and other services are provided to Free Basics. A free set of resources is available in 53 countries.

Claudia Fernandes, the top manager on business development of Facebook: "Free Basics started in 2015, and the purpose of Facebook same, as well as at other project participants, – to increase penetration of network in all countries. We created this project to show to people how to use the Internet. Giving to people the chance to use the websites in one of the areas, necessary for them, we hope that use of Network will become for them usual and they will ask more often for the help the Internet".

2017: Artezio and Facebook conduct negotiations on long-term partnership in the field of IT

Representatives of Artezio (LANIT group) discussed participation of the company in social projects and programs for the leading developers of social network at a meeting with the top manager on business development of the central office Facebook Claudia Fernandes. The meeting took place in the spring of 2017 during the working visit of the representative of Facebook to Belarus.

Relying on Uber technology, we created the system allowing people to help each other, for example, to find the people who got into trouble or to together solve other problems.
