2022: Philips 243S1
On January 24, 2022, MMD introduced the Philips 243S1 monitor.
According to the company, the device received an IPS panel (diagonal 23.8 in/60.5 cm) with an FHD resolution, USB-C connectivity and many other functions, as well as a full-fledged integrated dock.
Thanks to the USB-C dock, the Philips 243S1 charges the laptop, connects to it and transmits data at the same time. The thin reverse USB-C connector provides a single cable connection and provides high-speed data transfer, as well as simultaneous connection and recharging (at a power of up to 65 W) directly from the monitor. USB-C also provides serial connectivity for multi-display configurations. At the same time, the workspace becomes cleaner and not overloaded with wires.
Along with the USB-C standard, the Philips 243S1 is also equipped with an integrated RJ-45 Ethernet connector for data protection, as well as HDMI 1.4, DP 1.2 and four USB-A connectors for easy connection of any peripheral devices and other gadgets.
The model is equipped with a SmartErgo Base stand, thanks to which you can install the monitor in the proper position: tilt (+ 25/-5 degrees), rotate (+ 180/-180 degrees) and adjust the height (up to 130 mm). The location of the screen and the habit of taking brief breaks will relieve physical tension over a long working day.
Prolonged work with the display can lead to fatigue and burning in the eyes, their dryness and redness - the main symptoms of the so-called computer vision syndrome. Philips 243S1 monitors comply with the TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort standard, preventing eye tension as a result of reduced glare. The device also offers wide viewing angles to avoid degradation of image quality when viewed from different sides. The monitor has Flicker-Free technology, LowBlue Mode and EasyRead modes, in which reading from the display is similar to reading from paper.
The Philips 243S1 monitor will appear on sale in January 2022 at the recommended retail price of 28,607 rubles.
