2023: Use in agricultural machinery to combat hogweed

On August 23, 2023, Galileosky announced the introduction of its satellite monitoring terminals in agricultural machinery in the Perm Territory to combat hogweed. In particular, the devices are installed on mowers with tractors for clearing fields.

Satellite terminals track the routes of equipment and the processing area, control the production of machine operators and save the history of work on an interactive map. The programmed terminals determine which mower the tractor is working with and calculate the mowing area. The driver now changes the mower using a set switch depending on the type of mowing: for even or uneven areas. For places with overgrown trees where manual work is needed, it was previously impossible to send employees remotely, and now drivers report this using a button.

Digitalization of agricultural machinery in Russia helps to fight hogweed

According to the developers, thanks to the project, downtime of equipment decreased by 30%, and fuel savings amounted to 15%. The efficiency of the craftsmen has significantly increased: earlier, to coordinate the work, they had to be constantly next to the working equipment, so about four to five craftsmen at UAZ were needed for 18 tractors. Now two people are coping with this work.

Equipment equipped with satellite monitoring terminals has already destroyed hogweed on 5500 hectares of land in the Perm and Dobryansky districts in two months. About 3,000 more hectares are expected to be processed by mid-September 2023.

In this project, we have created a control system that gives a complete understanding of the effectiveness of the equipment. If earlier machine operators could drive outside the treated area on someone else's, since they did not always know the location of the fields and their borders, now the terminals constantly track the location of the equipment and drivers see geozones for processing, - noted in the company "Trans-control-service," which was engaged in the installation of equipment in vehicles.

Galileosky terminals are the basis of the Interra system for monitoring irrigation of crops

On February 17, 2022, the company Galileosky announced that the company "" Interra developed a system for monitoring and remote control of irrigation using sprinkler machines. The InSmartRain product is based on Galileosky terminals and Easy Logic technology. It takes into account all the parameters of the technological process of irrigation of agricultural crops, which allows you to adjust the work on soil irrigation and increase yields. More. here

Galileosky terminals are based on the Interra product for monitoring the burial parameters of agricultural tools

Interra has developed a product for monitoring the burial parameters of agricultural tools. The solution is based on Galileosky terminals and Easy Logic technology. The Deeplow product allows you to monitor and adjust the work of agricultural machinery to increase yields. This was announced on January 20, 2022 by Galileosky. Read more here.

2021: Galileosky 7x LTE terminal line launch

Galileosky on January 13, 2022 announced the release of the Galileosky 7x LTE line of terminals. The devices work in 2G, 3G, 4G networks. They make it possible to efficiently collect and process data obtained from unstable communication objects when the terminal switches from one cell tower to another.

Cellular operators are gradually moving away from outdated wireless data technologies, and telematics equipment manufacturers are following an overall trend. New stations for cellular operators no longer support 2G, so Galileosky has launched devices that support the latest generation of communication standards. At the request of customers, Galileosky developers can supplement the terminal with 4G support with the Wi-Fi Hub function.

2017: Galileosky 7

Russian vendor Galileosky, a manufacturer GPSGLONASS of terminals/equipment, announced in May 2017 the release of a line of devices with built-in antennas - Galileosky 7, presented in five different modifications.

Galileosky 7 is a light and compact device, its weight is no more than 150 g. The dimensions of the novelty (97.0 mm x 68.0 mm x 22.0 mm) allow the terminal to fit entirely in the palm of your hand. At the same time, due to a powerful hardware platform, the device can solve tasks for monitoring or remote management of stationary objects of any complexity.

All modifications of the novelty support the technology of its own development by the Easy Logic vendor, with the help of which you can set any algorithms for the operation of the terminal without having in-depth knowledge in the field of programming. For example, set up sound notifications when the speed limit is violated in the rendered geozone, or the camera is triggered when the doors are opened.

To connect additional devices, Galileosky 7 provides 6 analog-discrete and frequency-pulse inputs and 4 transistor outputs. The terminal supports the RS485 and CANBUS protocols, and in all versions except Lite - also RS232 and 1 wire.

In addition, the line presents modifications with data transmission modes to choose from: with the presence of WiFi 3G modules. The device has a holder for 2 Nano-SIM, if necessary, instead of a second SIM card, you can install 1 SIM chip. The internal non-volatile flash memory is 16 MB, and with the additional installation of the SD card, the memory can be expanded to 32GB.

Despite the plastic case, the Galileosky 7 has a high degree of protection and is reliable: the calculated service life is at least 10 years. The device is protected from impulse voltage surges, with a long overvoltage it will not fail until 200 V. Depending on the settings, the internal battery will allow the terminal to operate autonomously for 8 hours.
