Svyazstroydetal has implemented a production management system

Customers: SvyazStroyDetal

Moscow; Electrical and microelectronics

Contractors: Frontstep CIS
Product: Infor CloudSuite Industrial (ранее ERP SyteLine)
Second product: TsUP: Data Collection
Third product: 1C: Accounting

Project date: 2007/03  - 2008/10

Content

On May 29, 2017, the company Frontstep CIS announced the creation of a management system on a platform Infor CloudSuite Industrial with an integrated synchronous planning module commissioned by the APS company. "Svyazstroydetal"

Project Tasks

In 2007, before the start of the integrated automation project, the company formulated the shortcomings of the planning system at that time:

  • organizational - "weak" centralization of production management (the sequence of start-up and execution dates of production orders were determined by the production itself), the planning results were advisory in nature and were not mandatory for execution.
  • functional - planning of the upper-level products for manufacturing without taking into account the load of resources (workers and equipment) - the deadlines were determined by production independently. Use MRP II to calculate the purchase requirements of a product.
  • Information (NSI):
    • "Flat" product structure - product structure that does not reflect the reality of the manufacturing process;
    • Absence of rationing of articles manufacturing;
    • Availability of two unrelated handbooks of technologist and normalizer;
    • Lack of information on equipment;
    • Irrelevant data in the system - in the basic directory of conformity of the product-materials, and so on.

Production "Svyazstroydetal," (2014)

Peculiarities of plant production:

  • various technological processes (painting, electroplating, metalworking, welding, assembly, concrete production, etc.)
  • multilevel product structure with a large volume of items (including alternative variants).
  • production capacities of workshops are loaded with shift tasks with combination of serial and order production,
  • part of orders is picked from purchased goods (without production),
  • seasonal demand has an impact on the production rhythm.

Project Progress

The implementation project began in 2007. The production control system uses the "bottleneck management" method and APS.

Project Outcome

Based on the results of the project, an integrated management system has been created, the components of which are:

  • Infor SyteLine APS ERP system,
  • Frontstep's own development system for collecting operational data in the production of TsUP: DC and 1C: Accounting, automated services:
    • Commercial - Sales and Sales Management.
    • engineering - technological preparation of production.
    • Planning and Economic (PES) - Direct Production Cost Management.
    • Logistics (MTS) - procurement and inventory management.
    • IR - Main Production and Supply Planning.
    • Production - accounting of the progress of the main production.
    • Accounting.

In production, there have been qualitative changes in the procedures for approving planned orders (the so-called "pull system"):

  • Use forecasts in planning
  • Use Production Job Execution Data Entry
  • DCC: DC barcode systems are used directly in workshops through terminals.

As of May 29, 2017, the level of automation achieved allowed production and IT services to implement effective management of resource utilization, which are "bottlenecks."

= Vladimir Romanov, Deputy General Director for Business Information Support of Svyazstroydetal CJSC|As a result of the continuous iterative development of the management system and the application of a set of measures to improve business processes in production and at the enterprise as a whole, we succeeded:

  • Identify and manage savings in production costs
  • Establish rapid collection of information on production units,
  • Monitor production cost.

Detailed and reliable production accounting allowed the company to implement management on the principles of Lean Production and bottlenecks.
Through optimization and synchronous planning, the ERP system has made it possible to ensure the fulfillment of customer orders "on time," as well as to identify and effectively manage illiquid stocks of finished products, materials and parts in process (WIP).}}

= Vladimir Musin, General Director of Frontstep CIS|Svyazstroydetal is a capital partner for us - we work closely with employees and are mutually enriched with knowledge and ideas.
Frontstep practices the exchange of experience between its existing and future customers, and employees of Svyazstroydetal CJSC are the most active participants in such meetings, providing enterprises with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with all aspects of the plant's work - from industrial to IT automation, sharing technologies for introducing innovations and modernizing the existing production system.}}
